My favorite Book Boyfriends

The phrase ‘Book Boyfriend’ is actually in the urban dictionary as such; “The hero Male character in the romance novel you’re currently reading. Because real men suck at romance, the book boyfriend exists to fill the void.” Well, that’s definitely one way to put it. Haha

I think of a book boyfriend as a male character that exemplifies all the qualities I want in a man. Whether those are all realistic characteristics or not. My dad and brother are always telling me that those guys aren’t real. But I beg to differ. I think my book boyfriend is out there (in the real world. It had to be said. Haha), and I’ll meet him one day.

Here’s a list of my favorite book boyfriends:

  1. HenryThe Virgin Romance Novelist Chronicles
  2. Noah Say You Swear
  3. Clay Blind Side
  4. HoldenThe Virgin Game Plan
  5. Knox The Locker Room
  6. Grant The Men of Summer Series (MM)
  7. Wes Better Than the Movies
  8. Caspian Caspian
  9. Breaker A Long Time Coming
  10. Cannon Cannon
  11. Kye – Catching Kye

Henry is at the top because he’s sweet, patient, loving, and a bit possessive. Ugh… just thinking about him has me swooning. We would all be so lucky to have a Henry in our life.

Noah could honestly share the number one spot. Talk about patient and loving. This dude allowed himself to be in the friend zone, worked his way up, lost it all and had to fight to get it all back. Seriously, what an incredible man.

The last one I want to talk about is Grant. This is a MM (man & man) series, and it was my first one. There are three books in this series. Grant’s growth, patience and understanding of Declan’s situation and his refusal to accept anything less than what he deserves, has him at the top of my list.

Apparently, a major quality for me is patience… haha

Book boyfriends may vary based on the person, but one thing is constant; book boyfriends make us fall in love, cry, swoon, and even get angry. But ultimately, they’re our dream man. The one we can’t get out of our head, and wish we had.

Here’s to them! 🎉
