My Year in books 2022

What a year for reading! I wish I had a device that could calculate how much time I spend reading, because I guarantee it’s an astronomical amount. I have a problem… I know that I just don’t care. Haha I always tell me family, my addiction could be actual drugs, so don’t judge me. Of course, that doesn’t stop them.

This was the year I started REALLY reading. It was all because I watched the movie After on Netflix, then binge watched the other two. And THEN discovered it was based on a book, so I bought the books. Within five days, I watched all three movies and read all four books. What can I say, I’m committed. Haha

I’ve always had Kindle Unlimited, but never really used it. But after I read the After series, it was game over. Starting July 31st, until December 31st (23 weeks, 158 days straight) I read 108 books–36,246 pages. They ranged from 250 pages to 1,443 pages. No, I didn’t calculate all this myself. The Goodreads and Kindle app do it for you. It’s pretty cool actually!

I read 108 books in five months. It still blows my mind! Haha That’s almost a book a day!

My taste varied; I read steamy, innocent, regency, high school, thriller, college and fantasy novels and they were (almost) all FANTASTIC.

I seriously can’t wait to see how many I read when I have an entire year to read!

My favorite books of the year:

My least favorite books of the year:

  • A Letter to Whiskey (5th Anniversary Edition) – Kandi Steiner
  • Does it Hurt? – H. D. Carlton
