Book Description: Life is never black and white. One minute you’re a struggling graphic designer in LA that’s finally coming to terms with being single forever, and the next you’re flying to New York in a private jet to get engaged to your ex-boyfriend’s older brother. At least…that’s what everyone thinks. Forced to clean up his playboy image in order to protect his company, Beckham Sinclair, the city’s most eligible billionaire bachelor, wants me to be his fake fiancée and personal assistant. Now I’m spending every spare second with a man I thought I’d never see again. My freshly mended heart has barely recovered from the first time a Sinclair broke it. But with each passing day, Beck’s dirty mouth and lingering stares make me question his motives—and mine. As the line blurs between real and pretend, only one thing is certain: there are secrets hiding in this city full of black ties and white lies.

My Review:
Beckham & Margo
This is the second Kat Singleton book I’ve read. The first one was from her Mixtape series; Founded on Goodbyes and I LOVED it. It was such an angsty, steamy and sweet book. So, I had high expectations for this book.
Beckham Freaking Sinclair… Damn… this man, and his mouth. 😳🥵 I mean 7% into the book my jaw fell open and I felt like I fell into a furnace “Say his name again, and I’ll bend you right over this table and f*** you until the only name you can say is mine. You’ll be so full of me you won’t even remember who you were thinking about before.”
I mean… shit…
And then later on the plane… “Beck,” I moan as he kisses below my belly button. “What if they hear us?” I feel the breath from his laugh against my skin. “Then they’ll know how well I take care of my girl.” I’ve always said I want a man that’s a bit possessive, more than average. Beck is definitely that.
“I’d call anywhere home if it meant I was with her, because my home is no longer a physical place. My home is her.” -Beck
He’s VERY possessive. Some might say too much (not me). So, if that’s triggering for you, this isn’t the book for you.
To say Beck loved Violet (her nickname), would be a giant understatement. He’s one of those people who love with their whole beings, giving like 110%.
Margo was a good Heroine. I know it was a part of her character, but I really didn’t like how stubborn she was. I’m super stubborn, so it’s not that. It’s that she pushes that boundary too much.
I enjoyed the progression of the story and the challenges they faced. I especially loved the ending, in the art studio, *SWOON*.
Altogether, a really good romance full of steam and swoons.
