Samantha Whiskey

Her writing has the perfect amount of steam, swoon and character. Her books are also less then 300 pages, so when I want a shorter read, I turn to her books.
My first Samantha Whiskey book was Maxim, her last book in her hockey series -The Carolina Reapers. I picked it first because it’s a best friend’s brother trope, and that’s my favorite. I liked it so much that I started from the beginning with Axel. My favorite of that series is hands down Cannon, with Caspian being a close second.
After I finished with her hockey series, I was excited to see she had a supernatural series called the Onyx Assassins, a vampire series. And my oh my… I was NOT disappointed. I did read that series in the correct order, and my favorite is Crimson Kiss (a brother’s best friend trope, of course. Haha)
Whiskey also has a football series- Raleigh Raptors and another Hockey series- Seattle Sharks. These two series overlap with the Carolina Reapers.
She also has a small royalty series- The Royal Series.
