Book Description: The second the test-the-sexy-scenes offer landed in my lap, I said yes. After all, I’ve been damn curious about a few things I’ve read in romance novels. Do buttons truly go flying across the floor when you rip off a guy’s shirt? Is staircase sex hella hot or does it leave you with a big old bruise mark on your back? And don’t even get me started on all that panty shredding, and whether it even works. My best guy friend volunteers for the experiment. We have a plan to keep it PG and preserve our friendship. But once the buttons start flying, all bets are off…

My Review:
Tristan & Peyton
This book two in Lauren Blakely’s Boyfriend Material Series and the first of the series that I’ve read.
This has quickly become one of my favorite Lauren Blakely novels. I recently read Meghan Quinn’s book A Long Time Coming, and this book has the same vibe. The Hero falls for the heroine first but misses his opportunity. Until of course, they get a new opportunity.
I LOVED that Peyton went back to her blog, which then led to her trying out all the things we think are sexy in books, but question how realistic they really are.
The scenes that Tristan and Peyton tried out were just… 🔥🔥 I was here for it. And her blog entries were honest, and I loved that she put herself out there, especially after Gage tried to put her down.
Her conclusion was usually- the more you wanted it, the better ‘the scene’ would play out.
Oh man… when Peyton told Tristan; “Worship me tomorrow. F*** me tonight.” No words… just a little swooning and steam. Haha
“Life doesn’t give you signs. Life gives you potholes, and you have to navigate around them without crashing.” -Tristan
The fact that her grandmother was the one that started the lingerie shop, was unexpected and awesome
I also really liked the relationship between Tristan and his younger brother. Barrett was such a little shit, and very similar to my brothers, always trying to press my buttons. I was happy for him when he felt safe and confident enough to tell his brother about his sexuality.
Altogether, a FANTASTIC read, full of steam, heart and some laughs. I would definitely read it again.
